The story behind I Love Aesthetics...

Hi, I'm Gabriel. I'm a Body Builder, Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach. 

I started ILA because I wanted to create a sportswear brand that I felt should have a bit of a unique style and twist, be simple, affordable and comfortable to wear. 

My background is in health and wellbeing, and I am a NZIFBB athlete. I wanted to combine my love of sports, fashion, health and wellbeing; which created the style in my sportswear line.

I came up with a solution for creating the right sportswear that looks aesthetically pleasing to the individual, simple, high in quality, is customised to fit and priced well. After much trial and development testing we're proud to offer ILA Wear for you to enjoy!

WHY ILA?

Who’s had difficulties finding the right sportswear? I’ve had that problem, have you?

We've all bought and worn a few brands in our time and know what we liked and dislike. It was either the trend, the fabric or comfort, style or price. 

When you’re trying to lose weight, or not feeling your best, and trying to feel good about yourself, you want to find an outfit that fits right? A sportswear that makes you look your best!

A lot of work goes into creating a clothing line, just like work goes into setting goals about the way you would like to look or feel.

For me, going through my weight loss challenge and physiological challenges, injuries and various setbacks to currently holding New Zealand titles in body building was great preparation for the challenge of creating a clothing line.

I know that anything is possible.

I wanted to create a brand that suits different physiques to make all ILA customers feel confident and good about themselves.

My first product was recyclable baseball caps and ILA tees then the ILA weight belts. These products had a tremendous reception!

I sold out on all the ILA weight belts within a month! The feedback on the tee shirts from customers was how comfortable the tshirt is, and how the fabric was nice and light and breathable. The baseball caps surprised a few customers that were amazed you could make recyclable hats out of plastic bottles! Some people purchased an ILA cap out of curiosity! I really do care about the environment and like that ILA can play our part.
